The 10 yard is the one we send when the job is one room, one garage or one pile of heavy debris. At about 12 feet long and 8 feet wide it is our smallest container, so it suits a narrow driveway or a back lot. It holds about 10 cubic yards, roughly three pickup truck loads.
It also suits dense material. Concrete, brick, asphalt, tile and dirt fill a container by weight before they fill it by volume, so a 10 is the usual choice for them. The included weight is about 2 to 3 tons, and the limit depends on the debris type, so tell us what you are loading when you book.

Small remodels, cleanouts and heavy debris
A bathroom remodel - tile, a vanity and some drywall - fits in a 10 yard, as do a garage or small attic cleanout, yard debris and minor landscaping, and the tear-off from a small roof. The low sides make it easy to load from the ground.
A whole-house cleanout is a 20 or 30 job. Furniture and mixed junk fill a 10 faster than people expect, so ask us if you are not sure.
The weight line on a 10 yard
The 10 yard includes about 2 to 3 tons of disposal, and your quote states the limit for your load. Spread heavy material evenly and keep it below the top rim. Keep debris level with or below the top rim. An overfilled dumpster cannot be hauled safely, and we swap it for an empty one instead. The flat rate covers delivery, pickup, disposal within the weight limit and a standard rental period of 5 to 7 days. Excess weight, extra rental time and restricted materials may carry additional charges, as our terms explain.

The City's permits page says permits may be required for excavation and construction and does not mention containers.
