Where this website describes a city, county or state rule - hauler licences, street and right-of-way placement, dumpster permits, state highways or prohibited materials - it summarizes what that government's published code or web page said when we read it in October 2026. It is not legal, environmental or regulatory advice. Codes change, so confirm the requirements for your address with the City or County, or with VDOT for a state highway.
Materials
Customers are responsible for checking that all materials placed in a dumpster are acceptable for standard disposal. We cannot ensure full compliance when restricted or hazardous materials are put in a container, and improper disposal may result in fines or additional charges.

Dumpster rentals
Dumpster rentals are governed by our Terms and Conditions. Customers are responsible for complying with local disposal laws, property placement regulations, permit requirements and safety and loading guidelines. We are not responsible for fines, damage or violations caused by improper use of a dumpster by the customer or a third party.

To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, Tidewater Dumpster Rentals, its employees and affiliates are not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this website; errors or omissions on it; service delays; or losses from relying on its information, including indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
No warranties

We operate primarily in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and the other places in Hampton Roads and the Peninsula listed on our service area page. We make no representation that the site or our services comply with the laws of places outside those areas.
