Local cleanups and sponsorships
We regularly support neighborhood cleanup days, school and sports sponsorships, and volunteer efforts across Hampton Roads. Keeping our communities clean is a team effort, and we are glad to help residents and organizations haul away debris responsibly. If your group is planning a cleanup, tell us what you are clearing and we help you pick the size.
One honest tip: sort before you load. Keep electronics, tires, batteries, propane tanks, paint and anything hazardous out of a cleanup container altogether, because they are not accepted in our containers. For a cleanup on a public street, the City's rules apply first, and we check them with you before booking.
Partner with us
Have a community project in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, the York County places or anywhere in the region? Call (757) 844-5926 or email info@hamptonroadsdumpsters.com to talk about how we can help. A cleanup container follows the same rules as any other, and those rules depend on the city or county, so we check them before the day, not on it.
We also work alongside the homeowners, contractors and businesses that keep the region moving, and help keep neighborhoods clean during renovations, cleanups and seasonal projects.
Responsible disposal
Keeping the region clean also means sending what we haul to the right place. We work to divert reusable materials, metal, concrete and yard waste away from landfills whenever possible, and loads go to licensed Hampton Roads disposal and recycling facilities. Materials that need special handling go to the proper collection site, not into the container.
