Our services

Tidewater Dumpster Rentals provides temporary roll-off dumpster rentals for residential, commercial and construction projects in Chesapeake and the surrounding Hampton Roads area. Services include delivery and placement, pickup and disposal of non-hazardous waste, and junk removal. All services must comply with the rules of the City or County where the container is placed.

Using this website

You agree to use the website lawfully and responsibly. You may not upload or send harmful, illegal or misleading content, try to get unauthorized access to our systems, or disrupt the site. We may restrict access or remove content that breaks these terms.

Booking and payment

When you book, you agree to give accurate project, delivery and payment details. We accept major credit cards, electronic payments and business checks. Full payment or a required deposit may be collected before delivery, and late or failed payments may delay service. Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and generally include delivery, pickup and disposal within the included weight limit. Excess weight, extended rental time and restricted or hazardous materials may carry additional charges.

Rental periods and extensions

Standard rentals run 5 to 7 days unless your quote says otherwise. Extensions are available on request and may carry daily or weekly fees. Tell us when the container is ready for pickup so that extra rental charges do not build up.

Using the dumpster

You agree to use the container responsibly and to follow the rules of the place where it sits. Keep debris level with or below the top rim, keep the pickup area clear, and do not overfill: an overloaded or blocked container is the customer's responsibility. Do not move the container after it is placed; call us if it needs relocating. Prohibited items include paints, thinners, oils and automotive fluids; batteries and electronics; propane tanks, fuel and pressurized cylinders; tires; medical waste; asbestos and hazardous materials; and appliances containing refrigerants. Improper disposal may result in additional fees or penalties.

Property and placement

We make every effort to place containers safely. We are not responsible for damage to driveways, pavement, pavers, lawns or curbs unless protective measures were requested and confirmed. Protective boards go under the container on request, and we recommend them on any finished surface such as a driveway, pavers or a curb.

Permits and local compliance

If a container must be placed on public property, the customer is responsible for obtaining the required permits. We give guidance and check the rules for the place before booking, but the customer must make sure the placement complies with the rules of the City or County where it sits.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancel at least 24 hours before delivery for a full refund. Same-day cancellations or failed deliveries may incur fees. Refunds are processed within 3 to 5 business days.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages or losses from improper or unsafe use of a container, failure to follow permit rules, weather, natural disasters or unforeseen delays, or customer negligence. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental in question, and we are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Review your own liability coverage before renting equipment.

Intellectual property

The website content, including text, images and graphics, belongs to Tidewater Dumpster Rentals and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.

Privacy and third-party links

Use of the website is subject to our Privacy Policy. Our site may link to city services, recycling facilities and business directories; we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and disputes are handled in the courts located in Chesapeake, Virginia. We may update these terms at any time. The updated version is posted here with a revised effective date, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
